Moutidis Ioannis, a member of the Greek Orthodox Church living in Kastoria(Greece), has been a full-time icon-painter for over twenty-three years. He has worked in many cathedrals and churches.
His aim, following the Byzantine icon tradition, is to make liturgical art that manifests the world transfigured in Christ.
All of the icons, from the classification of Small and Large works, are presented under the philosophy of the Byzantine period, making them not only aesthetically beautiful but also illustratively correct.
We hope that you enjoy looking at the icons illustrated on this website.
